Nurse story

A signed, page-cited chronology in one sitting.

Marina Solayao, RN, is a legal nurse consultant and one of the first nurses to work in Case Nurse day to day. Marina’s first case was a motor vehicle file of about 100 pages.

Marina also reviews cases for Case Nurse as a contractor. Her feedback here was her own.

“It is actually so easy to use. It’s not complicated. I love it.”

“The case processing is so fast. I did not expect it to be ready in about 10 minutes. The information was verbatim from the records, just as attorneys like it.”

What the review actually was

Marina did not read hundreds of raw extractions one at a time. Case Nurse grouped nearly 600 raw findings into about 60 clinical items and wrote a dated, page-cited chronology. Marina read it end to end, opened citations to check the records behind them, corrected anything that needed a clinical eye, and resolved the short list of open questions, a handful of which needed a decision. Then Marina signed.

Duplicate billing and repeated diagnoses were collapsed before Marina saw them, so the attention went to what was new and what mattered.

On a bigger file

Marina has also run a 500-page case through Case Nurse. A review that takes Marina most of a workday by hand took under an hour with the draft in hand.

The parts Marina liked most

“The generated Excel Sheet feature is just wow!!”
